Search engine submission is the process of notifying search engines that your website is online and ready to be indexed. Unless the search engine is requested to index your site or there are links on other websites to your site, the search engines will not be able to find your website.

- Check your spelling.
- Verify that you use your keywords on pages through your site.
- Verify that your top keywords are in the browser title.
- Verify that you use some keywords in page titles.
How long does it take to get listed?
- Search engines are slow.
- It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get your site index.
- Newly indexed sites are not usually ranked very high.
- The longer your site has been online, the better rankings you will get.
How much traffic can I expect to get?
- For new websites, expect very little traffic at first.
- It can take a long time to get top rankings.
- It Depends on your keywords. For very competitive keywords it will be difficult to get top rankings and good traffic.
